Research Orientation and Projects
The Faculty has initiated many research projects including a national research project on the possibilities of industrial development in the rural regions of Iran. It has also carefully examined the issues of space imbalance from a geopolitical viewpoint.
The Faculty has four research committees on Physical Geography, Human Geography, Urban Planning, and GIS.
