Institute of Psychology
The University of Tehran Institute of Psychology and Education (UTIPE) was set up in 1960. Its primary mission was to bring forth and expand new frontiers of knowledge in the field of psychology and education; as well as serving as a bridge, linking the industry and corporations with the Faculty. The Institute draws upon the expertise of the faculty members whether on temporary or associative basis. Several notable projects undertaken by UTIPE are as follows:
· Taking personality and career fitness tests from prospective applicants at the Fire-Fighting and Safety Services
· Increasing Work Performance Quality of staff and students at Imam Hussein Educational Campus, under contract with Khuzistan Steel Company
· Undertaking special training courses in psychology for Naval Officers, commissioned by the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy
