College of Fine Arts
Numerous alumni of the College have become some of the top celebrities of the country and in some cases in the world. They have won many awards in most of the Iranian and the world art festivals either as students, faculty members, or as alumni. The College which is unique in the country and the region is the founder of the artistic disciplines in Iran. It is one of the oldest and largest faculties of the University of Tehran. Searching for finding and understanding the connection between science and the arts, has always been one of the pivots of architecture education at the University of Tehran. This is because architecture has created not only a shelter for the human being but it has also been in a position to display all values, beliefs, emotions, and the human spirit with all its complexities. Hence, for the faculty members and students of architecture at the College, design of architecture, is an integrated and united compilation of different scenes with complete unity and integrity. Other schools at the College have also created shining pages in the education of fine arts. For example, the early teachers of Visual Arts were the late Professor Ali Mohammad Heidarian and the late Professor Abolhasan Sedighi who were among the eminent students of Kamalolmolk, the Master painter of the 19th century Iran .
